Monitoring a new native meadow is essential to ensure its successful establishment and long-term health. Regular observations should focus on plant diversity, growth patterns, and the presence of invasive species that may compete with native plants.

CGE's visual monitoring guide and data collection on species composition will aid in evaluating progress over time. By maintaining a consistent monitoring routine, land managers can make informed decisions to support the meadow’s ecological integrity and enhance its biodiversity.

Common Ground Earth is also experimenting with goose deterrents testing various methods, such as visual scare devices to determine the most effective way to divert them from consuming the native meadow seeds before they have a chance to germinate.
